Pu Erh tea is oxidized and fermented leaves from the Camellia Sinensis plant. We love this tea for its digestion boosting properties and for its density of antioxidants. During the fermentation process, healthy microbes and microflora are present. This healthy bacteria is the same healthy bacteria found in yogurt that helps our digestive system function properly. The flavor profile of a Pu Erh is rich and woodsy, and makes a great alternative to coffee... not that coffee isn't great too... we're just a little obsessed with tea!
