For those of you that know our family, you know we LOVE food! We especially love to see how other cultures enjoy food and prepare meals. While American dishes tend to have many ingredients, complex flavors, and are usually in some capacity fusion, we love the simplicity and indulgent nature of authentic Italian dishes which tend to rely heavily on the quality of the ingredients vs the complexity of the flavor. This very simple pasta dish is inspired by the small, family-owned Italian restaurants we've visited when traveling through Italy but it has a distinct OBTC twist: it is made with Tea Seed Oil!
| Created by Paola Huffmon |

1 can chickpeas
2 Tbsp roasted sesame oil

3-4 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp OBTC New Mexico All Purpose Seasoning
¼ cup tahini
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika

3) Finally, Take your Strawberries, Dip, Enjoy, Repeat!
Other fun ideas: Chopped the washed strawberries, serve in little bowls, drizzel sauce over top and serve. You can also drizzle sauce over popcorn for the salty/sweet lovers; dip pretzels and marshmallows; or use as a base for a mole sauce!

Healthy Heart Seasoning is OBTC's January 2019 Spice of the Month! It is our salt-free, all purpose seasoning! But the lack of salt is not the only reason why this spice is good for you! The ingredients that make up this blend are good for you too!
Hello! My name is Maggie! I am a Marine Scientist that was moved to the New Mexican desert with my family by the Air Force! That move was never in my plan, even in my wildest dreams, and I felt lost in the desert for awhile! Meeting the founding owners of Old Barrel Tea Company and falling in love with the store allowed me to find an oasis in the desert! I had no idea what loose leaf tea was, but now I believe in this company and the product! I hope that I can extend some of the love and knowledge with all of our followers and readers!
